Terms of Use

Der Die Das (io.flimt.derdiedas) and other Flimt apps · Last updated 2026-07-19

Who we are

The app is provided by Flimt (Yury Nasonov), Kleve, Germany — contact hi@flimt.io, full details in the imprint. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. Statutory consumer rights are not limited by anything below.

What you may do

You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the app and its learning content on your devices. The app, its word lists, pictures and design remain our (or our licensors') property. Don't copy, resell, scrape or redistribute the content, and don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app or our servers.

Free tier and purchases

Discounts and personalised offers

Besides the regular prices, the app can show optional discounts — for example when you use the "suggest your own price" flow, when a counter-offer is made to you, or when you enter a promo or invite code. Which discount offers you see (and the lowest price we can accept) may vary between users and over time, including as part of product experiments. Regular list prices are the same for everyone, and no offer is ever binding for you until you confirm the purchase at the displayed price. See the privacy policy for how offer and purchase events are processed.

Refunds

The free tier exists so you can try the app before paying. For completed purchases of digital content the statutory right of withdrawal expires when the content is delivered immediately with your consent, as stated in the Google Play purchase flow. Google Play's refund policies apply on top; if something went wrong, contact us at hi@flimt.io and we will try to help.

Invite program

Your account and data

The app works without registration; an optional email account exists to restore purchases and rewards across devices. You can delete your account and associated server data in the app or by emailing us. How we handle data — including pseudonymous usage statistics and A/B experiments — is described in the privacy policy.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the app and its online features (sync, invites, feedback) available, but they are provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability; learning works offline. We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the typical foreseeable damage. Otherwise liability is excluded. Statutory liability (e.g. under product liability law) remains unaffected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for the future — for example when features change. The date above always reflects the current version; material changes are announced in the app. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the app and, in the case of a subscription, cancel it.

Governing law

German law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr; we are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
